AI Prep ("the app") is provided by MortalApps ("we", "us", "our"). The app is designed with a privacy-first approach and primarily functions offline. It does not require account creation or submission of personal data.

1. Information Handling Overview

1.1 Personal Data

We do not collect, store, or process personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or precise location. We do not require user accounts.

1.2 Data Stored on Your Device

Your activity within the app is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. This includes test history, scores, XP, levels, streaks, and bookmarks.

1.3 Anonymous Reports

If you choose to report a question, the app may send a report containing the question ID and your feedback. Reports are not linked to any personal identifier and are used solely to improve question quality.

2. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

Any minimal processing of anonymous technical data (such as question reports) is carried out under our legitimate interest in improving the quality and accuracy of the app.

3. Permissions

Permission	Purpose
`INTERNET`	Used to process premium purchases and submit optional question reports.
`BILLING`	Required for processing in-app purchases via Google Play.
`POST_NOTIFICATIONS`	Used for optional reminders and daily challenges.

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 Google Play Billing

Purchases are processed by Google Play. We receive a purchase token solely for verification purposes and do not receive or store payment details such as card or billing information. Google Privacy Policy

4.2 Report Submission Backend

Reports are transmitted securely via HTTPS to our backend for review. These reports contain no personal data and are used only to improve content quality.

5. Data Retention

All user data is stored locally on your device and remains until you delete the app or clear its data. We do not store user data on external servers.

6. User Rights (GDPR)

As we do not collect personal data, most rights under the GDPR (such as access, correction, or deletion of personal data) do not apply. However, users may contact us for any privacy-related concerns.

7. Data Security

Data is stored locally on your device.
Secure transmission (HTTPS) is used where applicable.
Uninstalling the app removes all local data.

8. Intellectual Property & Acceptable Use

  The unique selection, structure, and technical curation of this question database is the exclusive proprietary work of MortalApps.

Personal Use: Licensed for personal study only.
No Scraping: Automated extraction or reuse is prohibited.
No Reproduction: Redistribution is not allowed.

9. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
